SavvyStance Setup Guide

SavvyStance an add-on to our existing control panels delivering levelling information for your van. Designed to be plug and play with minimal setup. Please follow the instructions below to install and configure SavvyStance to work with your control panel.

Connectivity and Comptable Devices

Whats in the box?

As we try to keep our device as simple as possible, the only thing in the box is your SavvyStance levelling device. 

Wiring & Fitting

Wiring up our device couldn't be simpler. The module needs only a 12v power supply and to be mounted somewhere on a level surface. The arrow should be pointing towards the front of the vehicle with the writing facing up. (not mounted on a wall or upside down on a roof)

This installation should only be completed by a qualified auto electrician. 

Software

Please ensure your SavvyVan Screen is fully up to date, instructions can be found here.


Linking to your display

To connect SavvyStance via Bluetooth using your SavvyVan display, please navigate to Settings > Enter your passcode > Bluetooth Devices > Scan for devices. 

Your SavvyVan unit will search for nearby Bluetooth devices, please select the Green + next to  'SavvyStance' as shown below


Please wait while your device connects, once connected the Bluetooth symbol next to SavvyStance will turn Blue and you will see the new Stance icon on the top of your screen.

Configuring SavvyStance

Once connected, you need to set the level of your van and configure your wheel distance for SavvyStance to return accurate data. To do this, navigate to Stance by clicking on the icon at the top of the page, as shown below, you will see what the stance unit believes is the level of your van.

Set the level offset

For SavvyStance to provide accurate levelling information it first needs to know what level is. Please manually level your van, using a spirit level or a phone app will ensure this is accurate. Once level, click 'Set Offset'. SavvyStance will now use this as your perfect'y level setting. 

Set your wheel Distance

SavvyStance can tell you the exact changes required to make your van level. Using a tape measure, measure the distance from the center of your wheel, both Front <> Back and Left <> Right. Once you have these measurements, click each icon and enter these measurements in meters


Using SavvyStance

Using SavvyStance couldn't be simpler, navigate to SavvyStance using the button on the top of your screen, once configured all the information needed to level your van is displayed. No other actions are needed.
